Why Clean Beauty?
According to a study in 2005 by EWG, more than 200 industrial substances and contaminants were detected in the umbilical cord of newborns.
This result reveals that toxins may came from the cosmetics products we use every day, they entered to our body and even being passed to the baby through the placenta. In the past 20 years, more and more scientific research support that, cosmetics ingredients are highly linked with cancer, hormonal disorder, infertility and contact dermatitis.
This is not what we want!
Thus, Formulas is committed to providing a toxin-free options. As a cosmetic chemist, I developed the cleanest and truly functional formulations which excluded hundreds of harmful ingredients.
Our proprietary “preservatives-free” system fulfilled the stated requirements of European Pharmacopoeia, 5.1.3 Efficacy of Antimicrobial Preservation.
